- 5 boxes of Pop-Tarts - on sale this week 5 for $5 (must buy 5!). Used the $1 off any 2 coupon from Sunday's insert and the $1 off any 2 Choc. Banana Split or Blueberry Muffin flavor. I purchased two of the Choc. Banana Split and all the rest Strawberry, cause that's my favorite :) Total amount spent after coupons: $3
- 2 boxes of Raisin Bran - on sale this week with other Kellogg's items for $1.67 if you buy 5. That works out perfectly because I need 10 items for the rebate & I had to buy 5 boxes of Pop-Tarts for the $5 price. So I used the $1 off any 2 Raisin Bran coupon from Sunday's insert.
- 2 boxes of Pops - hubby's favorite cereal & part of the $1.67 promo. Used the $1 off any 2 selected cereals coupon from Sunday's insert.
- 1 box of new Cinnabon bars - part of the $1.67 promo and there is a $1 off any box coupon on Coupons.com Total amount spent after coupons: $5.35

Wow! I actually have an Acme post this week :D And can you believe that I'm actually not complaining about the deals this week? It seems like there's going to be some great sales on the horizon for back to school, which makes me very happy!
First, I caught on Moms Need to Know this post about a really great deal that Kraft is doing in conjunction with Acme (pretty much $25 of free groceries!), so check the list of participating items here and try to hold off on buying those until this deal starts on Friday.
Ok--here's the best deal scenario of them all, and the best thing is that you can do this really well with just printable coupons. So send this post to your non-coupon-clipping friends and they can do it too!
There's a Catalina promo for Unilever and General Mills products where you buy $30 of participating products and you will get a $15 Catalina (register) coupon for your next shopping order. Take note that you can only earn one of these $15 Catalinas per transaction, so if you are interested in doing this deal more than once you will need to do more than one transaction. Also, the best part about these deals is that the $30 you need to spend is before coupons, so you will really spend much less and still get the $15 coupon! :)
Check the pullout page for the complete list of participating products, but tons of these items have both circular coupons and printable coupons available on Coupons.com and Smartsource.com right now. Here is one example scenario for you with coupons all currently available on Coupons.com:
- Buy one bag of regular Chex mix and one bag of chocolate Chex mix at $1.66 each. Use one of each $0.50 off printable - there is one for regular and one for chocolate ($0.50 off will double to $1 off). Total credit toward $30 = $3.32 - Total price after coupons = $1.32
- Buy three boxes of Hamburger, Tuna or Asian helper at $1.50 each. Use one of the $0.75 off 3 boxes printable (coupon will double to $1.50 off). Total credit toward $30 = $4.50 - Total price after coupons = $3
- Buy one Macaroni Grill dinner kit. Use the $1.10 off one printable. Total credit = $3.99 - Total price after coupon = $2.89
- Buy two Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters. Use the $1 off coupon. Total credit = $2.50 - Total price after coupon = $1.50
- Buy two boxes of Kix cereal and print two of the $0.75 off one coupons ($0.75 coupon will double to $1.50 off). Total credit = $4 - Total price after coupons = $1
- Buy two boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios and print two of the $0.55 off one coupons (will double to $1.10 each). Total credit = $4 - Total price after coupons = $1.80
- Buy two boxes of Betty Crocker fruit snacks and print two of the $0.40 off coupons (will double to $0.80 each). Total credit = $4 - Total price after coupons = $2.40
- Buy two boxes of Betty Crocker shaped fruit snacks and print the $0.50 off two coupon (will double to $1 off). Total credit = $4 - Total price after coupon = $3
- Buy one BC cake mix at $1 and one can of BC frosting at $1.50. There is a coupon that requires you to buy both and take $0.50 off (will double to $1 off). Total credit = $2.50 - Total price after coupon = $1.50
- Buy one box of Fiber One snack bars at $2.50 and print the $0.40 off one coupon (will double to $0.80 off). Total credit = $2.50 - Total price after coupon = $1.70
In my scenario here, you will have met the $30 purchase quota ($31.31) and the final price you really pay after coupons is $17.41. Then at the end of the transaction, the $15 Catalina coupon will print out, pretty much making it $2.41 for all of those groceries! Of course you can modify this deal based on what you need or use and the final total may vary a little bit. But especially if you do this deal before your weekly shopping (if you have that kind of time, lol) you can head right back into the store and use the $15 coupon for the rest of your groceries and really lower how much you spend out of pocket on one day.
The other deals for the week:
There is another Catalina deal where you purchase $20 in Proctor & Gamble products get a $5 Catalina coupon for your next purchase. Check the circular for all of the participating products (Charmin, Bounty, Puffs, etc.), but there are coupons available in the P&G Brandsaver insert from Sunday's paper.
Kellogg's Pop-Tarts 8 ct. are on sale 5 for $5 (must buy five!). There was a Kellogg coupon insert in Sunday's paper that had two coupons to use here, one for $1 on any 2 Pop-Tarts and a $1 on any 2 Blueberry muffin or Chocolate banana split. Use them both and get 5 boxes of Pop-Tarts for $3. That's only $0.60 each!
Eggo Waffles 10 ct. are buy one get one free at around $3.59 each. There is a $1 off 2 coupon in the Kellogg insert making two boxes $1.30 each.
Finally, there's a bunch of buy one get one free deals throughout the circular and on the back page. These include Tyson Chicken strips, Herr's Tortilla chips, Oscar Meyer bacon, Hatfield deli ham, and more.
Find any awesome deals or have a question? Leave it in the comments!

Prices aren't too great this week. There's a bunch of Buy one get one free items this week (Bogo) which seem to be some of the better deals. For me and my Coke Zero addiction, the best deal is the Coke 12-pack circular deal. Here's what I see:
Circular deals:
Stouffer's Red box, Lean Cuisine, Multi-Serve, Hot or Lean Pockets are all 50% off.
- Keller's Butter quarters
- Raspberries
- Acme or Perdue split chicken breasts
- Ball Park meat franks (there are $1 off 2 coupons from recent inserts)
- Perdue Turkey breasts and Hatfield Pork tenderloin
- Thomas' English muffins and Maier's Italian bread
- Hatfield sliced bacon
- Nature sweet cherry tomatoes
Green Giant Boil-in-Bag boxed veggies are on sale 8 for $10, and you actually have to buy 8. These used to go on sale 10 for $10, but haven't in a long time :(
Printable coupon deals:
McCormick Grillmate marinade packs are $1 this week. If you still have the $0.50 McCormick coupons they will double to $1 making these FREE.

I can't believe how few deals there have been lately. As I look through the circular the "sale" prices of some items (like Nabisco crackers, Kraft dressing, Juicy Juice) are at the highest. What gives Acme? Bring us some good summer deals :D Anywho, here is a quick post of the only good deals I see.

I'm sorry I'm so late on getting this post up, it has been a crazy week yet again for me, but I feel like there are actually some decent coupon matchups this week and you might want to run and pick them up between now and Thursday! You can get free McCormick grill seasonings, more than free Kraft bbq sauce and a bunch of stuff for $1.

Hello readers! I have had an extra busy weekend, and it is already late Sunday night and I'm just getting around to clipping my coupons. So for this week, I'm going to pass on scouring through the Acme circular and pass on a link to the Acme deals post over at Moms Need to Know.

Deals are very slim this week. But that doesn't mean that good coupons aren't out there. Since it is the beginning of the month, be sure to print all of the good internet coupons while they last. Did you know that now you can print coupons.com coupons right from here? Check out the coupons.com bar on the right, where it says "Print Coupons From Here!"

Here is what I see this week:
There are a couple random promotions:
-On page 6 of this week's circular are two coupons (however, you can use only one) for either a free box of Yehuda matzos or a $3.99 box of Manischewitz matsos when you make a purchase of $75. Also, if you spend $25 or more in Manischewitz brand items in one transaction, you will receive a $5 coupon at checkout good for your next shopping trip.
-On page 8 of this week's circular are 16 different coupons that can be used to get $2 off a carton (12 or 18 pack) of eggs. If you are buying any of these items (such as Kraft mayonnaise for $2.99 or Betty Crocker Warm Delights 2 for $5) clip one of these coupons and $2 will come off your egg purchase.
-On the last page of the circular this week, there are quite a few participating Kraft products--purchase $20 of them and you are eligible to use the $5 off any Lancaster brand rib eye roast or ham.
This week I just see one good deal opportunity using Acme's printless "avenu" coupons, but just be sure to check your offers before you go to shop at your store. Never used avenu before? It is very easy. Go here and enter your Supercard number from your card or one of your receipts. You will then see some "customized" offers for you and then a list of electronic coupons. Once you have activated these electronic coupons, all you have to do is purchase the items required for the specific offer that you would like to take advantage of, and the "coupon" will come right off of your total at checkout. The best thing about these deals is that they CAN be combined with manufacturer coupons!

First, if you are new to working deals at Acme, please read the background info on one of my earlier deals posts. This will explain how the coupons double & how to print two copies of the printable coupons.
Here is what I see this week:
First, there is a Catalina coupon deal where you purchase $20 in participating P&G and/or Pepsi products in one transaction and you get a coupon for $5 off your next transaction. Since P&G puts out its own coupon circular every month, there are a ton of possible matchups here if there are items you need. None are particularly thrilling, but if you are purchasing these items anyway, it is worth taking a look at the participating products and you can qualify by spending $20 before coupons.
Non-coupon deals:
Thomas' English Muffins twin-packs are on sale for $1.99 each.
Mann's bagged vegetables (like Broccoli Wokly) are on sale for 2 for $5.
Select varieties of Barilla whole grain pasta are on sale for $1.
2 lb. bags of Arctic Shores frozen raw shrimp are on sale for $9 with the in-ad coupon on the front page of the circular.
16 oz. packages of fresh strawberries are buy one get one free.
Fresh Express salad blends are buy one get one free.
Printable coupon deals:
Juicy Juice 64 oz. bottles are on sale buy one get one free this week. Pick up two bottles, use the $1 off two printable available here and get two bottles for $3.29 max. (it may be even lower), that's $1.65 each.
Cabot chunk cheese is on sale for $2.50. Use the $0.30 off printable coupon here (it will double to $0.60 off) to get it for $1.90 each.
Lysol cleaning products are on sale for $1.99 each. There are $1 off & $0.50 off (that will double to $1) coupons available here (you may need to register to print them) making them $1 each.
Slim-Fast ready to drink shakes are on sale for $6. There is a $3 off 2 printable coupon available here, that would make these $4.50 each.
Newspaper coupon deals:
Kellogg's cereals, straws, 8-ct Pop Tarts, fruit snacks and Yogos are on sale for $1.25 each (cereals are select varieties). You must buy four to get the $1.25 price, more or less will be $1.67 each. There are Kellogg's coupons from last Sunday's paper (not today's) for $1 off any 2 Pop Tarts, $1 off any 2 fruit snacks, $0.70 off any one Kellogg's cereal and $1 off certain varieties of cereal. If you were to purchase two boxes of cereal and either 2 Pop Tarts or 2 fruit snacks, this would be your breakdown. The first box of cereal is $1.25, the $0.70 off coupon will double to $1.40 off, making it free, plus giving you $0.15 overage. Use the $1 off coupon for the second box of cereal at $1.25 and it would be $0.25, minus the $0.15 overage from the other box, will be $0.10. Buy two boxes of your choice of fruit snacks or Pop Tarts at $2.50, use the corresponding $1 off coupon, and spend $1.60 for two boxes of cereal and two boxes of Pop Tarts or fruit snacks.
Hillshire Farm smoked sausage or Kielbasa are on sale buy one get one free with a max. price of $4.99 (identical item only). Use the $1 off 2 coupon from a recent insert to get two packages for up to $3.99 (may be less depending on the actual cost of which item you choose).
Purdue cooked or breaded frozen chicken bags are on sale for $5.99. Use the $1 off one coupon from a recent insert to get a 28-34 oz. bag for $4.99.
That's all I can see for now. If you have anything to add, please leave it in the comments ;)
